Location: Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE
Application: Private Villa Central Staircase (Triple-height void)
Product Selected: Tikanna Custom Spiral Crystal Chandelier
1.Project Background
The Vision: The client owns a luxury beachfront villa on the iconic Palm Jumeirah. The central architectural feature is a grand spiral staircase spanning three floors with a 12-meter high ceiling.
2.The Challenge
The vertical space was immense and felt “cold” and empty. The client needed a fixture that could visually connect the ground floor to the roof, filling the void without blocking the view of the bespoke marble stairs.
3.The Solution: “Infinite Spiral”
Design Concept: To complement the curvature of the staircase, we selected the Tikanna Spiral Crystal Chandelier. The design mimics a DNA helix or a cascading waterfall, guiding the eye naturally from top to bottom.
Customization Details:
Verticality: Customized to a total drop length of 6.5 meters to perfectly inhabit the atrium space.
Crystal Quality: We utilized K9 clear crystals with precision cutting to maximize light refraction. In the sunny Dubai climate, the chandelier sparkles like diamonds during the day even when unlit.
Structure: A reinforced stainless steel frame (Titanium Gold finish) was used to ensure stability and match the villa’s warm gold interior accents.
4.The Result
Atmosphere: The chandelier serves as the “heart” of the villa. At night, the light passes through the layers of crystal rings, casting intricate geometric shadows on the curved walls, creating a sense of movement and luxury.
5.Client Testimonial
“I didn’t just want a lamp; I wanted a centerpiece that represents the flow of energy in my home. This chandelier is stunning. Walking up the stairs now feels like ascending through a waterfall of light.”
