1.Aperçu du projet
Located in the fashion district of Paris, this high-end bridal boutique (“Maison de L’Amour”) required a centerpiece that embodies romance and femininity. The client moved away from traditional clear crystal, seeking a unique fixture that would serve as the store’s visual identity. Tikanna Lighting was commissioned to create a massive, multi-tiered pink glass chandelier to hang above the main fitting area.
2.Le défi
The client faced a delicate balance between aesthetics and functionality:
Custom “Blush” Glass: We utilized a specialized glass coloring process to achieve a translucent, soft pink gradient. The arms and central column are made of hand-blown glass, offering a fluid, organic feel.
High CRI Illumination: To solve the color rendering issue, we installed High CRI (95+) LED bulbs. This ensures that while the fixture looks pink, the light projected onto the dresses remains true and natural, showcasing the fabric’s details perfectly.
Grand Scale Design: The fixture spans 1.8 meters in width and 2.5 meters in height, featuring three main tiers of curved glass arms. This verticality perfectly fills the void of the high ceiling, drawing the eye upward.
4.Le résultat
The chandelier has become the iconic “Instagram Spot” of the shop. Brides report feeling like princesses under its warm glow. The store owner praised Tikanna for the precise color matching, stating: “It is not just a light; it is the beating heart of our salon.”
